The creator of OllieBots has passed away.
12-year-old Oliver Smith lost his battle to Ewing Sarcoma on Thursday.
Ewing sarcoma is a cancerous tumor that grows in the bones or in the tissue around bones.
Oliver was a big part of the construction and sale of over 2000 OllieBots which means over $35,000 is being donated to the Ewings Cancer Foundation Endowment Fund and the money will also provide financial support to those local families affected by paediatric cancer.
In his obituary it says his family and friends will continue the OllieBot project to honour his legacy.
The funeral mass for Oliver Smith will take place Monday morning in the St. Ninian Cathedral at 11 a.m.
