Cape Breton South Recruiting for Health held the region’s first ever awards for healthcare providers yesterday evening at the Port Hawkesbury Civic Centre.
The ceremony was held to recognize the important work healthcare professionals carry out every day.

Healthy Communities Leader – Celeste Gotell
Mentor Champions – Dr. Scott MacNeil and Dr. Laurie MacNeil
Life-Long Learner – Melanie Power
Dedicated Mental Health / Long-Term / Continuing Care Professional – Michelle Carter
Healthcare Hero Award (3 awarded) – Richelle Sparks, Glenda Kipp, Tara MacInnis
Making a Daily Difference Award (volunteer) – Georgette Burke
Making Health your Business Award – Michael Hatt
