Bulldogs Take on Penguins for NSJHL Title

The Antigonish Bulldogs are playing the East Hants Penguins for the Nova Scotia Junior Hockey League title starting tonight.

Bulldogs Head Coach, Donnie Grant, says his team is excited to be moving forward in the playoffs.

“We played the Miners last year and lost in six, so to be able to beat them this year and move on, there was a lot of happy faces so everyone is kind of in a good mood and looking forward to more playoff hockey.”

Grant adds that the Penguins are a tough team and he expects a tough battle in this series.

“East Hants are a heck of a team, both times we played them this season we beat them but with empty net goals. Now in playoffs they’re 11 and one so it’s going to be a really tough battle.”

Puck drop at the Antigonish Arena is 7:30.
