Meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm affecting parts of northern Cape Breton.
They say the storm could bring strong wind gusts and heavy rain across the region, with the possibility of damaging hail and lightning.
A yellow-level severe thunderstorm watch is in effect for Inverness and Victoria Counties, with the most impacted areas including Chéticamp through Pleasant Bay to Margaree Forks.
Environment Canada says when thunder roars, go indoors.
