Drug bust suspect expected back in court in September

A man charged in relation to the search of a home in Inverness Co. has had his case adjourned.

RCMP say they searched a Waycobah home and found cocaine, marijuana and other drug paraphernalia in January.

They say they arrested a man from Waycobah without incident; he was released from custody.

Alexander Paul, 32, who faces a count of possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, was scheduled for election-and-plea in Wagmatcook Provincial Court Wednesday; instead, the hearing was adjourned until Sept. 5.

It was also adjourned in April, May, June and July.

Paul’s case opened in court in February.
