A man arrested in connection with several break-and-enters in Inverness Co. is scheduled to return to court Tuesday.

Police say a man broke into businesses three times in January and once in December.

They say he broke into restaurants in Cheticamp and stole alcohol, with one case involving thousands of dollars in damage.

Joseph Maurice Larade, 52, of Cheticamp faces four counts of break-and-enter, four counts of mischief over $5,000, three counts of theft under $5,000, a possession of a break-in instrument count and two breaches.

Larade is expected back in Port Hawkesbury Provincial Court for an election-and-plea hearing.
