The Eagles (11-4-0), with one loss in their last six, are fourth in the 10-team Eastern Conference with 22 points, a point behind Charlottetown for third, and a point ahead of fifth-place Rimouski; the Mooseheads (7-7-1), losers of four straight, are seventh with 15 points, three points behind Quebec for sixth, and two points ahead of eighth-place Baie-Comeau.
Cape Breton has won the first two games in the nine-game season series between the provincial rivals.
