A basketball player and hockey player are the latest StFX athletes of the week.
Azaro Roker, an X-Men basketball forward, is the male winner; he led StFX in scoring and rebounding in a pair of losses in a home-and-home series with Saint Mary’s.
Roker had 17 points and 21 rebounds in Wednesday’s 95-88 loss in Halifax, then followed up with another double-double- 18 points and 20 rebounds- in Saturday’s 66-65 loss in Antigonish.
Lea MacLeod, a forward with the X-Women hockey team, scored both goals in StFX’s 2-1 win against St. Thomas in Antigonish Saturday; she was named player of the game.
