Bay Street Project resumes in Antigonish on Monday

Drivers in Antigonish are being notified that the Bay Street Project resumes this week.

The Town says construction will take place on Monday to Friday morning from 6 p.m. to 7 a.m.

This work will occur at the section of East Main Street between Haley Road and Adam Street.

They are keeping the roadwork to evenings and overnight after daytime work caused traffic turmoil last fall.

The Town says this work includes extending sewer lines under the tracks, installing curbs and sidewalks, and laying asphalt on the street and active transportation trail.

They apologize for any inconveniences and appreciates your patience as they finish this project.
