Second planned power outage in Antigonish on Monday morning

The Town of Antigonish is giving notification of a second planned power outage on Monday, April 20 from 12:30 a.m. to 6 a.m.

They say the outage will affect the following areas:

  • Bay Street
  • Sisters of St. Martha’s
  • Fernwood Drive
  • Mount Cameron Circle (civic numbers: 4, 5, 6, 7, 10, 11, 12, 15, 17, 23, 25, 26, 27, 30, 35)

The Town says the outage necessary to move power lines to the new poles that were installed last Tuesday.

The power outage will not impact St. Martha’s Regional Hospital and Parkland Antigonish and there are no traffic control measures required, according to the Town.
