Boil, conservation orders lifted for Whycocomagh

The boil order and the water conservation orders have been lifted in Whycocomagh.

This comes about a week after the initial orders were put in place.

According to a statement from the Municipality of the County of Inverness, the conservation order was because of an issue with the supply going to the treatment plant.

And the boil order was because of possible contamination after heavy rain that may have given your water a strange colour.

They ask everyone to let their friends and neighbours know the order has been lifted.
