Cape Breton Regional Police Reminding People to Protect Valuables

The Cape Breton Regional police would like to remind residents to protect belongings kept in vehicles.

This is in response to a series of thefts in the Sydney Area.

Unlocked doors allow for an opportunistic theft. That’s why it’s recommended to keep your car locked and to keep valuables hidden from view when they are stored in a vehicle.

People are encouraged to call the police if they witness any suspicious activity near parked vehicles.
