The Cape Breton Regional Police have charged a teenager for comments made about planning a school shooting.
The police were alerted to the comments made on You Tube.
The investigation led police to a residence in Dominion where the youth was arrested.
The 16-year-old was remanded to the Cape Breton Correctional Centre and was handed terrorist related charges.
The police continue to investigate.
They want to assure the public that there is currently no threat to public safety.
