Coady receives another Giller nomination

A native of the Quad Counties is among 14 long-list nominees for the 2020 Giller Prize.

Lynn Coady has been nominated for her novel “Watching You Without Me.”

Coady, who currently lives in Toronto, was born and raised in Port Hawkesbury.

She won the 2013 Giller Prize for her short story collection “Hellgoing”; her novel “The Antagonist” was shortlisted for the Giller in 2011.

The finalists for the 2020 award will be unveiled Oct. 5; the $100,000 winner will be announced Nov. 9.
