River Denys’ Colten Ellis has signed a three-year entry level contract with the St. Louis Blues.
The deal starts in the 2021-22 season.
The Blues drafted Ellis in the third round (93rd overall) of the 2019 NHL entry draft.
The goalie has won 16 of his first 17 games with the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League‘s Charlottetown Islanders in the 2020-21 season, posting a 1.89 goals-against average and a .922 save-percentage.
