An individual has been charged under the Health Protection Act.
A 45-year-old man from Eskasoni recieved the fine after he failed to self-isolate.
RCMP conducted an investigation after complaints were made about the Eskasoni man.
The 45-year-old was charged $1000 on Monday under Section 71 of the act for failing to comply with direction, order or requirement.
RCMP say you must follow all Public Health orders.
