Jeep stolen during break and enter at Port Hawkesbury business

RCMP are looking for information after a Jeep was stolen during a break and enter at a business in Port Hawkesbury.

Police say it was June 12 around 2:30 a.m., when officers responded to the crime in progress on Paint Street.

Investigators learned someone accessed the building and took a set of keys for a blue Jeep Wrangler. Surveillance video shows the vehicle driving away shortly after.

The Nova Scotia license plate is HPY 723, but it is possible it has been replaced.

A person wearing a hoodie with a distinctive logo was seen on video from inside the building.

If you know where the person or Jeep is, you are asked to call Inverness County District RCMP at 902-490-5020.
