It will be a crowded ballot for band elections at a First Nations community in Antigonish Co.
Paqtnkek band members will cast their ballots for a chief and councillors Nov. 21.
Band officials say some candidates have declined their nominations.
Two people are now running for chief, down from the original five nominated- P.J. Prosper, the incumbent, is being challenged by Michael Julian.
There are six council positions available, up one from the current five; 21 candidates, including the five incumbent councillors, are running for those six spots after 16 original nominees declined.
