There are a pair of ball games on the local sports schedule.
The Louisdale Baracos visit the Petit-de-Grat Red Caps in the Richmond Amateur Baseball Association.
The Baracos (5-4) are second in the six-team league, three-and-a-half games behind Little Anse for top spot, and a half-game ahead of third-place Inverness; the Red Caps (3-6) are fifth, a half-game behind Isle Madame for fourth, and a half-game ahead of last-place St. Peter’s.
It’s the fourth and final regular season game between the teams; Petit-de-Grat has won two of the first three.
First pitch at the Petit-de-Grat Ballfield is 6 p.m.
The St. Joseph’s Chiefs host the Heatherton Warriors in the AGR.
It’s a match-up of teams at the opposite end of the standings in the five-team league; the Warriors (5-2) are in top spot, a game up on second-place St. Andrews, while the last-place Chiefs (1-5) are two games back of Pomquet and Guysborough, who are tied for third.
The teams have split the first two games in the four-game season series.
