Nova Scotia finished the preliminary round with a win and two losses; Saskatchewan had two wins and a loss.

The winner advances to Thursday’s semi-finals.
Antigonish’s Matt Fraser will compete for boxing bronze in the 56 kg division.
Fraser takes on an opponent from Manitoba at 7 p.m.
The SAERC Saints host the Inverness-Baddeck Academy Rebels in the opening game of their Cape Breton West High School Hockey League playoff series.
The Rebels (10-5-1) finished the regular season second in the five-team league with 30 points; the third-place Saints (8-4-3) were six points back.
Inverness-Baddeck Academy won three of the four regular season games between the teams.
Puck drop at the Port Hawkesbury Civic Centre is 7 p.m.
The second and final game in the first-round series is in Inverness Friday night; the winner of the series advances to the league final.
St. Andrews’ Declan Smith and the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles continue their road trip through Quebec while the 2019 Scotties Tournament of Hearts takes place at Centre 200 in Sydney.
They visit the Gatineau Olympiques.
The Screaming Eagles (33-18-5), who have lost back-to-back games, are sixth in the 18-team Quebec Major Junior Hockey League with 71 points, six points behind Rimouski for fifth, and a point ahead of seventh-place Sherbrooke; the Olympiques (20-31-5) are tied with Val-d’Or for 13th with 45 points.
It’s the second and final regular season game between the teams; Gatineau won the first 7-4 in Sydney in October.
