The 2019 AGR playoffs kick off with a pair of games in Pomquet.
The St. Andrews Flyers (4-8), who finished the regular season fourth in the five-team league, play the Pomquet Acadians (9-3), who were second, at 7 p.m.; the Heatherton Warriors (11-4), the league’s top team, square off with the last-place St. Joseph’s Chiefs (3-10) at 9 p.m.
Play continues Friday night; the semi-finals and final are Saturday afternoon.
Two and three-year-old trotters are on the card in three divisions of Atlantic Sires Stakes harness racing at Inverness Raceway.
Two divisions of three-year-old trotters will compete in two races for a total purse of $8,620; the only division of two-year-old trotters will race for a purse of $15,120.
It’s the last Atlantic Sires Stakes action of the 2019 season for the trotters.
First race post time is 7 p.m.
