More than a month after it first appear, the Mooseland Road Wildfire is now officially declared out.
The fire popped up July 15th and, as it grew, forced more than 100 homes to evacuate.
The fire reached more than 1,700 hectares in size, but it was declared under control on July 29th.
In a social media post, the Department of Natural Resources says they have been monitoring the site for hot spots for weeks with ground and air teams.
But late Tuesday night, they officially declared the fire totally out.
