There’s an emergency department closure in the Quad Counties Friday.
The ER at Guysborough Memorial Hospital will shut down at 7 p.m.; it re-opens at 7 a.m. Saturday.
Similar closures are in place Saturday and Sunday nights.
The emergency department at Baddeck’s Victoria Co. Memorial Hospital closes from 4 p.m. until 8 a.m. Saturday and Sunday.
Health officials say all of the closures are due to a lack of physician coverage.
