No fishing license needed this weekend in Nova Scotia

You can fish for free this weekend in Nova Scotia!

On Saturday, June 6 and Sunday June 7 no license is required. It’s a way for you and your family or visitors of Nova Scotia to explore the sport.

If you’ve never been fishing you may want to check the Nova Scotia Angler’s handbook. That will give you some general info and rules to follow.

Here’s a refresher on your bag limits or how many fish you’re allowed to catch per day (if you’re lucky!)
