No school in Quad Counties

It’s a storm day for students in the Quad Counties.

Officials with the Strait Regional Centre for Education have cancelled classes at all schools due to predicted deteriorating weather; support staff are to report for work at the regular time.

There’s also no school at Ecole Beau-Port in Arichat, Ecole acadienne de Pomquet, We’koqma’q First Nation School, Allan Lafford High in Potlotek and Mi’kmawey school.

Classes have been cancelled at all schools within the Cape Breton-Victoria Regional Centre for Education.

Strait Area Transit and Victoria Co. Transit services have been suspended for the day.
