It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Jason Stewart at the age of 56.

Jason was a devoted and loving father to his son, Zac, who was the center of his world. He cherished every moment spent with Zac, especially the many hours they enjoyed fishing together in Antigonish Harbour, a place that brought him great peace and happiness.

Jason was a beloved son to his mother, Patricia, and a caring brother to Rudy and Stephen. He was deeply loved by his family and friends and will be remembered for his kind heart, quiet strength, and unwavering love for those closest to him.

Jason leaves behind his son Zac (Kendra), his mother Patricia , his brothers Rudy (Robena) and Stephen (Elia), nephew Jamie (Shannon), nieces Angela (Chris) and Caitlin, great nephews Eli, Gavin and Chase, great niece Avery and extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly. Jason was predeceased by his father Joseph (Joe).

Though he is gone too soon, his love, laughter, and the memories he shared will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.

Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or funeral.  A private family burial will take place at a later time and details regarding a remembrance gathering will be shared by the family at a later date.
