It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Elizabeth Cameron Dowling (Rogers) on Sunday, May 31, 2026, at the age of 59.

Born on August 30, 1966, Mary was the beloved daughter of the late Ann Georgina Nolan and Ronald Joseph ‘Joe’ Rogers. She shared 36 wonderful years of marriage with the love of her life, Raymond Dowling. Together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and devotion, spending most of their years in Port Hawkesbury.

In recent years, Mary’s greatest joy was being the heart of her family and home. Nothing brought her more happiness than caring for and spoiling her cherished grandchildren. Her kitchen was a place of warmth, comfort, and togetherness, and her love of cooking and baking created countless treasured memories for family and friends. Anyone fortunate enough to sit at her table experienced her generosity, kindness, and the love she poured into every meal.

Mary leaves behind her devoted husband, Raymond; her son, Raymond Dowling, his wife Kelsey, and their daughter Penelope; her daughter, Taylor and her children Chase, Emmie, Fallon, Nash, and Ellie; and her daughter, Josie and her children Kayleigh and Nolan.

She is also lovingly remembered by her brothers, Joey (Sherry), Patrick, and Tommy (Darlene), as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends whose lives were enriched by her love and friendship.

Mary was predeceased by her mother, Ann Georgina Nolan; her brothers Brenden, Allison, John Musgrave, Francis, and Liam Rogers; and her sisters Jean Mah and Margaret Mrazek.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, 724 Granville St., Port Hawkesbury on Saturday, June 13, 2026, from 4 -6 p.m.

Mary’s love, warmth, and unwavering devotion to her family will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
