It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Emeline Rowe of Lennox Passage, that passed away on June 23, 2026, at St. Anne Community & Nursing Care Centre in Arichat.
Born in Lennox Passage on February13, 1937 she was the daughter of the late Robert and Barbra (MacRae) Lelacheur.
Emeline is survived by her son, Jerry Rowe (Beverly May), Lennox Passage; grandchildren, Sandy Moon LeBlanc, Darrell Rowe, Christopher May, Santana LeBlanc, Bretony MacDonald, and Sydney MacDonald; great grandchildren, Byron Short, Aiden Short, Lilly Short, Sandy Short, Jesse Vance, Lucky LeBlanc, Naomi Boudreau, and Mercury MacDonald; she is also survived her brother, Harry Lelacheur, of Lennox Passage.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Gordon Bedford Rowe; sisters, Edna MacRae, Ida Matthews, Joan Ross, Barbra Lelacheur, and Elizabeth Boucher; brothers, Vincent, Irving, James, Howard, Robert, Alden, and Gordon,
Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or funeral mass per request. Private family burial will take place later.
The family would like to extent a special thank you to the Nurses, Doctors, and Staff at St Anne Community & Nursing Care Centre, and especially to Phyllis Sampson her non-biological granddaughter, for the excellent care and compassion given to Emeline in her final days.
