Patricia Ann Mannette, lovingly known as “Pat” and “Patsy,” (née Cashin), born December 13, 1948, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 5, 2026, in Guysborough Memorial Hospital, following a short illness with liver disease.
True to their lifelong bond, she passed peacefully while holding her husband’s hand. Our family is heartbroken, but we find comfort in knowing she is at peace
Pat was a devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother, sister, and friend. She offered unwavering support and a gentle touch that made everyone feel valued. She will be remembered for her gentle heart and genuine kindness. Her legacy lives on in the compassion, joy, and encouragement she shared, and in the many lives she touched.
She will be deeply missed and forever held in the hearts of all those who knew and loved her
Pat was predeceased by her parents, Amos and Beatrice Cashin. She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Francis Mannette; her daughter, Jennifer Craig and son-in-law Nathan Craig, and their son, Oliver Craig; her sons, Dale Mannette and Steven Mannette, and Steven’s children, Isaac Mannette and Chloe Mannette; her brother, Ralph Cashin and his wife Gloria; her sister-in-law, Alice Cashin; her sister-in-law, Bernice Boudreau; her brother-in-law, Raymond Mannette and his wife Shirley Mannette; and many extended family members and friends
A Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, June 15, in St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Port Felix, Nova Scotia, at 11:00 a.m., with Father Jonathan Nnajiofor officiating. A reception to follow in the parish hall.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Joseph’s Parish Building Fund (Port Felix, Nova Scotia). Donation cards will be available at the church, and contributions may be made by cash or cheque
