We are heartbroken to announce the sudden passing of our dear brother, Raymond Chesley MacInnis on May 10, 2026, at the age of 69. He left us far too soon after a sudden heart attack and he will be deeply missed.

Born on June 3, 1956, in Port Hawkesbury, Raymond was a creative individual who earned a degree in Commercial Arts in Annapolis Valley. He was a lover of the outdoors and enjoyed scenic drives and cherished conversations.

He will be remembered by his sibling, Brenda MacInnis for his artistic spirit and kind nature. He is also survived by June, Irene (Larry, KC), Carolina (Dennis), Peter (Laurella), Freeman and Shane.

Raymond was predeceased by his parents, Angus Joseph and Kathleen Agneta (Embree) MacInnis. He is also predeceased by Peter and Jean Embree and Kevin and Lucy.

Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, May 29, 2026 in St Joseph Parish Cemetery, Port Hawkesbury with Deacon Berkerly Guthro officiating. He will be laid to rest alongside his beloved mother and father in St. Joseph Parish Cemetery, Port Hawkesbury.
