Price of gas down

Pump prices have dropped for the first time in five weeks.

The price of gas fell 1.5 cents at midnight, which means the new range for a litre of regular self-serve in the Quad Counties is between $1.15.2 on the low end, and $1.18.2 on the high end.

There had been four straight weeks of increases.

Diesel decreased 2.1 cents a litre; the new range in the Quad Counties is between a minimum of $1.23.3 and a maximum of $1.26.3.
