Inverness County’s warden says municipal officials continue to work toward improved cell coverage.
Provincial and municipal officials have been asking for improvements to cell coverage in Inverness County for years.
Warden Betty Ann MacQuarrie tells The Hawk they are getting information from providers, costing it out and considering different possibilities.
“It’s to make the decision where to start, where to put the first tower (and) looking at costs” she said. “That’s what we have staff doing right now.”
MacQuarrie says they’ll make a decision on where to start and how to move forward once they have all the information compiled.
