Pleasant Valley’s Jacob Hudson had an assist for Moncton; Antigonish’s Jake and Sean Stewart were also in the Wildcats’ line-up.
The Eagles (6-2-0), who had their two-game winning streak snapped, are tied with Moncton and Charlottetown for top spot in the 10-team Eastern Conference with 12 points.
Moncton leads the nine-game season series 1-0.
