SIRT investigating death of pedestrian on N.S. highway

The Serious Incident Response Team are investigating a fatal crash in Tantallon.

In a release, they say a man was walking on the side of Highway 103 on Saturday night, when he was struck by a vehicle.

The driver was an off-duty Bridgewater Police officer.

SIRT says alcohol doesn’t appear to be a factor.

They’re looking for anyone with dashcam footage, photos or other information to come forward.
