Stepfather of missing N.S. children has court case adjourned

The stepfather of two missing children had his court case adjourned.

Daniel Martell is facing sexual assault charges involving an adult.

The case in Pictou Provincial Court is now scheduled for May 4 for election and plea.

Sources say more evidence has appeared, and the Crown and defence need time to review it.

The case is unrelated to the disappearance of Jack and Lilly Sullivan in Pictou County.

Last May, the kids aged four and six went missing from their home in Landsdowne Station.
