A number of local runners are taking part in the 123rd edition of the Boston Marathon.
Four of the six local participants are from the Antigonish area- Tammy Beaton, James Jessome, Cathy Langille and Bonnie Fraser.
Danielle MacDonald of Port Hawkesbury and Tyler Germani of Baddeck are also competing.
More than 30,000 runners are taking part; 80 are from our province.
