Officials in the StFX Athletics Department have named their latest athletes of the week.
Josh Read, an X-Men soccer defender, is the male winner after his defensive performance in StFX’s 1-0 road win against Dalhousie in Halifax Sunday.
Sarah Hoerig, a centre with the X-Women rugby team, earned female honours; she recorded two tries and was named player of the game in Saturday’s 81-7 home win against Saint Mary’s.
There were no StFX football players of the week; the X-Men had a bye.
