Suspect arrested in Judique fight expected back in court in July

A man charged following a fight in Inverness Co. has had his case adjourned.

RCMP say they were called to the store in Judique one Saturday morning in April.

They say one man punched another in the face; one person was injured.

Daniel Jerome Gillis, 61, of Judique faces an assault causing bodily harm count; his case opened with an arraignment hearing in Port Hawkesbury Provincial Court Monday.

Gillis is scheduled to return to court for an election-and-plea hearing July 18.
