An Antigonish Co. native has earned a track-and-field medal on the national stage.
Mike Tate of Heatherton won bronze in the senior men’s 1,500m event at the national championship in Montreal Sunday afternoon.
Tate finished in a time of 3:49.69, 0.94 seconds behind the winner.
