Members of the StFX track and field teams have swept the athletic department’s weekly awards.
Logan Coulet, a jumper/sprinter with the X-Men, is the latest StFX male athlete of the week after he won gold and silver at the AUS championship in Saint John.
Coulet, who won the high jump event and finished second with the 4x200m relay team, qualified to compete in the U Sports championship in Edmonton in March.
Jane Hergett, an X-Women runner, earned female honours after she won four gold medals at the AUS championship in Saint John.
Hergett, who finished first in both the 1000m and 1500m events and anchored the 4x400m and 4x800m teams to gold, also qualified for the U Sports championship.
She was recently named the AUS female track athlete of the year.
