The StFX women’s hockey team can advance to the AUS final with a road win in game two of their playoff series against UPEI.
The X-Women, who have won 13 straight and 17 of the last 18 dating back to the regular season, slipped past the Panthers 4-3 in the opening game of the best-of-three, semi-final series in Antigonish Saturday night.
Game time is 7 p.m.
A StFX win sends them to the conference final against the winner of the Saint Mary’s-UNB series, which Saint Mary’s leads 1-0 with game two in Fredericton Tuesday night; a loss forces a third and deciding game back in Antigonish Thursday night.
