A man charged in a drug bust in Inverness Co. is scheduled to return to court in the new year.
Police say officers stopped a vehicle on Hwy. 105 in Whycocomagh in April.
They say they searched the vehicle and found cocaine.
Michael Warren Ryan, 27, of Port Hawkesbury has been charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.
Ryan, whose case opened in July, was expected for election-and-plea in Port Hawkesbury Provincial Court Monday; instead, the hearing was adjourned until Jan. 27.
It was also adjourned in August.
