Woman facing trafficking charges following pill seizures

RCMP say they have seized a significant quantity of oxycodone tablets following a traffic stop in Waycobah.

Police say they searched a 37-year-old Waycobah woman’s vehicle after receiving a tip Wednesday.

RCMP say they found and seized the pills, as well as a cell phone and cash.

They say she’s now facing a possession for the purpose of trafficking charge.

She’s scheduled to appear in Wagmatcook Provincial Court on July 14.
