Inverness stabbing suspect returns to court

The suspect in a stabbing in Inverness Co. is back in court Tuesday.

RCMP say a 38-year-old man suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries when he was stabbed following an argument in Inverness on Aug. 7.

Police say 54-year-old Francis Xavier Forance turned himself in shortly after the incident.

Forance faces charges of aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose in Port Hawkesbury Provincial Court Tuesday.
