Local contestant eliminated from MasterChef

A MasterChef Canada contestant from the Quad Counties has been eliminated from the reality TV show.

Jenn Miller of Linwood, Antigonish Co. lost Monday night’s second chance challenge.

Miller told The Hawk Morning Show she wasn’t too disappointed to be sent home.

“To me, life is just an experience- I mean, I do take things seriously, but not so much, so when I was leaving I’m like ‘OK what’s next?'” she said. “I’m highly motivated, I’m like ‘OK what can I do now?’- I’ll never forget the experience, but I’m not going to let it rule over me.”

Miller said she wants to use her MasterChef experience to help reach her goal of opening a catering and events planning business.
