There are a pair of ball games on the local sports schedule.
The Louisdale Baracos visit the Petit-de-Grat Red Caps in the Richmond Amateur Baseball Association.
The Baracos (3-3) and Red Caps (2-2) are tied for third in the six-team league, a half-game behind Isle Madame for second, and a game ahead of fourth-place Inverness.
It’s the third game in the four-game season series between the teams; Petit-de-Grat swept a double-header in Louisdale June 16.
First pitch at the Petit-de-Grat Ballfield is 6 p.m.
The Heatherton Warriors host the St. Joseph’s Chiefs in AGR action.
The Warriors (2-0), who are undefeated to start the 2019 season, lead the five-team league, a half-game up on second-place St. Andrews; the last-place Chiefs (0-2), who are winless, are a half-game back of Guysborough for fourth.
The teams have met once so far in the four-game season series; Heatherton won 4-3 in St. Joseph’s June 14.
