We are saddened to announce the passing of Ashley Michael Googoo, aged 45, of We’koqma’q, which occurred Monday, April 20, 2026. Ashley was a son of Angus and the late Sharon Googoo.

Ashley is lovingly remembered and mourned by his daughters, Dylan, Eskasoni, Eternity, Shubenacadie and Paris, We’koqma’q; son Kashtin, We’koqma’q; sister, Krista, We’koqma’q and 6 grandchildren. Ashley was predeceased by his mother, Sharon and brother, Darcy.

He was a proud member of Blessed St. Kateri Parish. Visitation will begin after 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 25th at 81 Subdivision Rd, We’koqma’q. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, April 27th at 2 p.m. in Blessed St. Kateri Parish, We’koqma’q with Fr. Joby Augustin officiating. Burial to take place at a later date.
