RCMP make cocaine bust in Whycocomagh

Police say they’ve made a drug bust in Inverness Co.

They say Inverness RCMP officers and members of the Inverness-Richmond RCMP Street Crime Enforcement Unit stopped a vehicle on Hwy. 105 in Whycocomagh Tuesday.

RCMP say they searched the vehicle and found cocaine.

They say Michael Warren Ryan, 27, of Port Hawkesbury has been charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.

Ryan is expected in Port Hawkesbury Provincial Court July 29.
